Common Kestrel, Falco tinnunculus - adult Winter visitor to whole of India etc. Few were seen in the afternoon - DD It feeds on small mammals, birds and insects, but field-mice form its staple diet (ECS Baker-1928). With prey Barred Buttonquail, Turnix suscitator. Video below |
