www.birdpoints.com hereinafter called Birdpoints is trying to bring forth as much as possible the behaviour and facts of birds for the sole purpose of increasing the awareness of our wonderful companions. Also at least ID-able images will be put up and as and when available better quality shots shall be provided. Although this site is for the slightly advanced birder, patient and steady observation of the birds in a matter of few months achieves an initial advanced status for anyone. Then the points put here start becoming relevant. To us an advanced birder is an ornithologist.

You may also submit your images or published notes/ careful observations with citations for inclusion in this site. Also, the errors or copyright violations may please be brought to the notice of the webmaster at the email id below.

Care has been taken to accurately represent the scientific/common names but with so many viewpoints on the subject and with much of the research pending, reasonable people are bound to disagree on the names adopted. If there are mistakes, they are all ours.

Also please note that the text at times is quite old and although the behaviour brought forth is quite relevant, the names of the places and the birds may not be in current use.
